Magiland

Magiland is a fast-paced arcade FPS where you play as a sick elf trapped inside a chaotic nightmare after taking way too many medications.

Fight your way through strange enemies, switch between different weapons, and survive as long as you can in a hand-drawn magical world inspired by classic cartoon-style shooters.

About the Game

In Magiland, combat is quick, simple, and intense. Enemies constantly move toward you, forcing you to stay mobile, aim fast, and make good use of your weapons.

The game focuses on an effective arcade gameplay loop: move, shoot, switch weapons, survive.

Project Context

This game was created as part of a student assignment focused on learning and experimenting with the Unity engine.

The game was made in only 2 days, as part of a short and intense development challenge.

The goal of the project was to work as a team and build a complete development pipeline, including:

• Unity project structure
• GitHub code management
• Build and deployment process
• Scriptable Objects for stats and data management
• Event-based communication between objects
• Singleton controllers with persistent data between scenes

Inspiration

Magiland is inspired by the game Mouse, with its cartoon FPS style and arcade-oriented action.
